Class Description
"Yoga Foundations & Salutations" is a 10-week introductory course catered to those who are curious and seeking to expand their yoga practice. We will cover what is known as the 8-limbed path discussed in classical yoga. You will learn the traditional sequences of Surya Namaskar (sun salutation), Chandra Namaskar (moon salutation), and Hero Series . We will also be diving into "The Yoga Sutras" by Patanjali Jois as a reference point throughout the duration of this course. ( I do recommend purchasing a personal copy). Through completing this course you will develop integration, methods, patterns and insight that will continue to support you on your healing journey.

I have an injury, can I still participate in this class?
I acknowledge that I am not a doctor or medical professional. I do recommend getting the okay from your doctor to practice yoga first. Once you have the okay then communicating to me so that I can incorporate postures and alternations that would support you.
