Yoga for kids is a great way for children to learn how to reduce stress, as well as improve concentration, mood, balance, and flexibility. And best of all, kids think yoga is fun!
Yoga is an ancient healing practice known to calm the body, mind, and emotions. This playful yoga course is designed especially for children. Children will learn yoga poses, breathing, and relaxation exercises which cultivate a calm mind, increase strength and flexibility, improve gross and fine motor skills, improve concentration, and give children the tools to manage stress in their daily lives. Games, stories, and music will be incorporated into this fun, non-competitive class.
This course is 7.5 hours total. Each class is an hour and a half long, and the course runs five days a week Monday through Friday. To see schedules, click "sign up now."
Jordan is a former dancer who found yoga to complete her vigorous active lifestyle. She is a placed runner and all around athlete. Her mentality is that yoga is for everybody! She is a certified yoga instructor who specializes in children and athletes.
