Brittany Recarte

Heels Instructor

Have you wanted to try heels dance but feel intimidated by others in the dance studio? Come take Beginning Heels Dance! We are all about learning and having fun without the pressure of feeling the need to be the best in class. This class begins with a nice warm-up to get our bodies warm and ready to move, followed by basic exercises (learning to walk, balance, and feel comfortable in heels and confident in dancing), and ending with learning a fun choreography, using what we learned. Come take this class and let's have some fun!

Hello and Welcome!

My name is Brittany Recarte! I am a dancer, performer, and choreographer. I have experience dancing and performing several styles of dance such as ballet, modern, contemporary, jazz, hip hop, ballroom, and heels dancing, and experience choreographing a variety of dance styles such as waltz, hip hop, jazz, and jazz-funk.

I have been teaching for 2 years as an event choreographer for quinceaneras and sweet sixteens. I have also taught at El Camino Community College as a choreographer for the campus’ Choreography Showcase. I have also participated as a dancer and performer for the showcase.

My interest in heels dancing began by seeing professional dancers on social media dancing in heels, exuding confidence, and having fun, so I choose to pursue studying heels technique and dancing. I began taking heels classes in 2017 and have continued to do so to this day!
