KENT JACKMAN is a graduate of Howard University’s College of Fine Arts (drama major). As a playwright, director, and actor he has created original productions for national and international youth programs (including the musicals "Triunfar!" (i.e. The Winners!) in Bogota, Colombia and the hip-hop musical "A Friend in Need" in Las Vegas.

Professional Background & Experience

As a professional actor I’ve appeared on stage, screen, and as a voiceover artist including: “Law & Order, Law & Order: SVU,” and as a regular ensemble player on the syndicated “Apollo Comedy Hour.” In recent years I’ve toured with the Pushcart Players theatre ensemble, along with working as an independent consultant with the Wingspan Arts and Sundog Theatre arts-education programs.
