Mindi Vestal

Ms. Mindi

When you give a scientist and math lover a classroom as a stage; fun and learning are a given.

Scientist, turned teacher.

I would have never guessed I would be where I am today; both in my career and in location. I started my educational journey as a Science fanatic, I took a summer job before completing my undergraduate degree and *poof* my life was changed forever. I love teaching. When I say LOVE, I mean LOVE. To teach others material they may have not known prior to entering my classroom is something I am very passionate about.

Although I have lived in many places, I now live in the beautiful state of Alaska! When I moved up here I stumbled into a position teaching adult education. I have found my niche! My passion for both math and science makes for an entertaining lesson for all of my students! As each student passes their TABE test, GED or HiSet I LOVE to celebrate with them because it takes hard work and a ton of dedication! I love to help and support get all my students to achieve their goals, whatever they may be.

My classes include GED Readiness for Math, Science, and a combination Math and Science Class. Here are the links to learn more about the specifics in each course (see below):
