I believe in learning things in a fun and interesting way, and the best way to do that is to focus on topics that will come up in real life so that you are prepared for real situations with a toolbox of grammar and vocabulary built from reading, writing, listening to, and speaking about real situations. An important part of this is allowing students to have a say in how the class, which is for their own benefit, is run.

Hello! This is my story.

I love to travel and learn about different places and cultures. So far I have spent time in Japan and Germany and I plan to go many more places. I am passionate about language-learning too, and as someone who has studied several foreign languages, including Spanish, Japanese, German, and Hebrew, I feel that I have some insight into the process of learning a foreign language and which methods of teaching are most effective.
I also enjoy sharing my love of making things, especially by knitting. There’s something immensely satisfying in being able to hold something that you created from a handful of materials.

I believe in the power of stories, both as learning tools and for their own sake. I aim to help kids find a lifelong love of learning and storytelling in every situation they find themselves in.
